Lend a Helping Hand
Each generous donation helps build strong families and a thriving community.
The Link is always here for people in need – but we can’t do it without you.
As a non-profit society, one of our biggest challenges is securing the funding we need to keep our programs operating – and growing. We rely on grants, and support from our community to meet the growing needs of families, children and individuals in the Lakes District.
And right now, too many people in our community need a helping hand.
Making a financial donation to our programs helps ensure that we can provide people in need with enough good food, as well as access to education, resources and support.
Your donation makes a big difference.
In fact, your support lies at the heart of everything we do.
Donate today – and help build strong families and a thriving community for all of us.

Did you know:
- More than 1,000 people currently in the Lakes District are in need of emergency food distribution as well as access to other Link programs and services.
- 30% of the children in Burns Lake who access The Link Food Centre do not have enough food to eat.
- People who live complex lives use emergency services more often and spend more time in the hospital.
Changes in life circumstances and rising costs of living mean some people in our community are living in poverty. Others are dealing with disabilities, addictions and trauma. Some do not have enough to eat.
These challenges affect everyone in our community.
